Ugwu is a dignified and disciplined way of returning
Somewhere between your first title and today, the performance became the identity. This program is the threshold back.
Most leadership development optimises the performance. Better communication. Sharper strategy. None of it touches the deeper question: does the part of you that’s performing feel like it’s truly yours?
The UGWU Leader Program is built on the conviction that the most powerful thing a leader can do is stop performing and meet themselves — fully, honestly, with the courage to let what is true reshape how they lead.
You meet what you have been performing. The inherited identities, the performed courage, the managed ambiguity. Each week a deeper layer.
The still centre of the arc. On land. In fire. In the presence of the cohort as witnesses. Initiation requires a body.
Integration. The quieter, deeper work of carrying what the threshold revealed back into leadership. Memory as medicine. Gift as power.
Enrollment is by discernment only. There is no application form. There is a conversation — between you and the facilitator — to determine whether this is the right threshold, at the right moment, for who you are becoming. Cohorts are held to 8–12 participants. The circle requires that everyone in it is seen.
“I have been here all along.
I simply had the courage, at last, to arrive.”
